The National Postal Museum has unfortunately had to remove the People and the Post digital memory book from its website. The memory book was created to bring to life work-related stories submitted by current and past employees of the Postal Service, showcasing the depth and breadth of the history of our postal system.

The People and the Post digital memory book was built using third-party software no longer supported by the Smithsonian Institution. Significant privacy and security concerns exist today that were not present at the time this platform was developed and launched. Providing safe and secure online experiences is a mandate of the Smithsonian Institution.

The National Postal Museum will explore opportunities for re-launching the People and the Post digital memory book in the future.
